Quality & Craft

OUR MATERIALS

Thoughtfully chosen. Made to be worn.

At FREVIVA, every material is selected with quality, beauty and wearability in mind.

From solid gold and platinum to diamonds, coloured gemstones and everyday jewellery, we choose materials that allow each piece to feel beautiful, personal and made for real life.

SOLID GOLD

Our fine jewellery is available in 9K, 14K and 18K solid gold, depending on the design.

Unlike gold-plated jewellery, solid gold is precious metal throughout and does not rely on a surface layer for its colour.

Each piece is crafted with careful attention to proportion, structure and finish, making solid gold an ideal choice for jewellery designed to be worn and enjoyed for years to come.

With proper care, solid gold jewellery can be professionally polished, repaired and maintained over time.

As with all precious metals, gold can naturally develop scratches and signs of wear. Rings and stone-set jewellery should be protected from strong impact or pressure, which may affect the shape of the metal or the security of the setting.

PLATINUM

Platinum is a naturally white precious metal valued for its density, durability and enduring beauty.

Unlike white gold, platinum does not require rhodium plating to maintain its naturally white colour, making it an excellent choice for engagement rings and fine jewellery designed for long-term wear.

Over time, platinum develops a natural patina — a soft, lived-in finish that becomes part of the character of the piece. It can also be professionally polished when a brighter finish is preferred.

Its density and durability make platinum particularly well suited to securely holding diamonds and gemstones.

Like all precious metals, platinum can still scratch and show signs of wear and should be protected from strong impact or pressure.

LAB-GROWN DIAMONDS

Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds, sharing the same chemical, physical and optical properties as natural diamonds.

They offer exceptional brilliance and beauty while providing greater flexibility in size, specifications and budget.

For our engagement rings and selected fine jewellery, lab-grown diamonds are individually selected based on factors including cut, colour, clarity, proportions and overall visual performance.

Where applicable, selected diamonds are accompanied by independent grading reports from recognised gemological laboratories such as IGI or GIA.

We look beyond the grading report alone, paying close attention to how each diamond actually looks and performs in person.

NATURAL DIAMONDS

Formed naturally beneath the earth over billions of years, every natural diamond is unique.

Our natural diamonds are individually sourced and assessed for their cut, colour, clarity, proportions, brilliance and overall appearance.

We believe a grading report is only part of the story. Two diamonds with similar specifications can look very different, which is why visual performance remains an important part of our selection process.

Where applicable, selected natural diamonds are accompanied by independent grading reports from recognised laboratories such as GIA or IGI.

GEMSTONES

Colour brings a unique personality to fine jewellery.

Our gemstone pieces may feature carefully selected precious and coloured gemstones, including sapphires, rubies, emeralds, tourmalines and other exceptional stones.

Each gemstone is considered for its colour, clarity, cut, treatment, origin where relevant, overall appearance and suitability for the design.

Natural variations, inclusions and differences in tone are part of what makes every gemstone individual.

For selected significant gemstones, independent laboratory reports may be available from internationally recognised gemological laboratories including Gübelin Gem Lab, SSEF, GRS, AIGS, GUILD, AGL and other reputable laboratories, depending on the stone and availability.

These reports may provide independent assessment of characteristics including gemstone identity, treatments and, where determinable, geographic origin.

Different gemstones also vary in hardness, toughness and sensitivity to heat, chemicals and impact. We consider how each piece is intended to be worn when helping you choose a suitable stone.

Every gemstone has its own character. We help you choose one that is beautiful, suitable and right for you.

MOISSANITE

Known for its exceptional brilliance and fire, moissanite is a beautiful and durable gemstone well suited to fine jewellery.

For our fine jewellery, we use premium lab-grown moissanite, individually selected and hand-cut for exceptional brilliance, symmetry and visual performance.

Each stone is chosen for its colour, clarity, cut quality and overall appearance, with an emphasis on creating a bright and refined finish that complements precious metals and fine jewellery craftsmanship.

With its impressive sparkle and excellent durability, moissanite offers a beautiful alternative for those who value brilliance, quality and exceptional value.

FREVIVA STEEL

Our everyday jewellery is crafted from high-quality stainless steel, selected for its strength, durability, corrosion resistance and ease of wear.

Gold-tone pieces are finished using PVD coating, a durable plating process designed to provide longer-lasting colour and greater resistance to everyday fading than conventional plating methods.

FREVIVA Steel is designed to be:

  • Water resistant

  • Tarnish resistant

  • Durable for everyday wear

  • Resistant to everyday discolouration

  • Easy to care for

It is jewellery made to keep up with everyday life — from busy days to warm weather and everything in between.

CUBIC ZIRCONIA

Selected FREVIVA everyday pieces feature high-quality cubic zirconia, chosen for its clarity, brightness and sparkle.

Cubic zirconia allows us to create refined, stone-set designs that offer a polished look while remaining accessible and easy to wear every day.

Depending on the design, stones may be precision-set or securely incorporated using techniques appropriate to the construction of the piece.

MADE TO ORDER

Much of our fine jewellery is made to order rather than mass produced.

This allows us to offer greater choice across metals, stones, sizes and specifications while avoiding unnecessary inventory and traditional retail mark-ups.

Instead of producing large quantities of finished jewellery in advance, we create each piece according to the selected design and specifications.

This means more of what you spend goes towards what truly matters — the materials, the stone, the craftsmanship and the quality of the finished piece.

Whether you choose one of our signature designs or create something completely bespoke, your jewellery is thoughtfully made for you.

All of our jewellery is designed to be worn and enjoyed — not kept in a box.
